About Me

I figured it’s only fair to tell you a little about myself and why I decided to start this blog.

I’ve spent much of my life immersed in the world of sports—beginning in college and continuing throughout my professional career. My journey started with two incredible internships: one in the sports department at KCNC-TV (CBS Channel 4 in Denver) and another with Kroenke Sports Enterprises, working with the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets. Those early experiences solidified my passion for the business of sports.

From there, I transitioned into collegiate athletics, spending time in the marketing departments at the University of Oregon and Arizona State University. In 2012, I had the privilege of working two United States events for FIBA in New York and Miami as part of their 3×3 basketball tour—now an Olympic sport. That opportunity opened the door to building connections and working numerous USA Basketball events.

As my career evolved, I became the Sports Information Director for the Denver Pioneers men’s basketball at the University of Denver. During that time, I discovered a true passion for public relations. Working alongside local and national media members and helping tell the stories of student-athletes was both an honor and a responsibility I deeply valued.

Those relationships eventually led me to join the game day Public Relations staff for the Denver Broncos. Experiencing the professionalism and operational excellence of an NFL organization firsthand was an incredible experience.

I created this blog to share stories, insights, and perspectives from the sports I love most—football, basketball, hockey, and soccer. My goal is to provide thoughtful content rooted in real experience, while also creating a space for conversation.

I’d love to connect and hear your feedback along the way. Thanks for being here—I look forward to making this an enjoyable and worthwhile read for you.
